Land Rover Repair: Landrover freelander front window/sunroof stuck, mortor, slan

Hi There, i Have a landrover freelander 1.8 2001 model. when i bought the fornt window doesnt work and teh sun roof just makes noise when I try to open it but just lifts slightly up but doesnt slide after going slight slan it makes rattling noise.
My front window does absolutely nothing.. Do you think its the problem wiht the motor or the switch? How do i chang ehtis with back window mortor? as i dont use much of teh back windows. can i change will they fit?
really appreciate any help in this. Many thanks.

Hi Kris,

from here, I am not certain what component is causing your problem.  You could try to swap the switches (known switch that works) to see if it isolates the problem.

Sounds more like a motor problem than a switch.
