Land Rover Repair: Disco II Rear suspension down, air suspension system, land rover discovery

Question
I have a Land Rover Discovery two. More often than not I find my car sitting down. Right above the rear tires. I have found out that if I drive 18 miles per hour it will go up but then some how it goes down again. What can I do?

Answer
Hi Jaime,

sounds like a problem within your air suspension - leaking air bags and/or air compressor faults to the rear.  A LR mechanic should be able to locate the fault quickly (but not painlessly $$$).

Not much a DIY'er can do except repair the air suspension system OR replace it with heavy duty coils and shocks.  I've known owners who have done this.

Best of luck,
