hi i have a 99 4dt freelander whit shuttle valae switch failure do you know how to get repair  or who can i send it to  thanks trevor

Hi Trevor,

here is what I've been told on how to install shuttle valve:

Remove ABS Modulator from the vehicle. On the bottom side you'll find the shuttle valve and should be easy to remove and replace.  Reinstall modulator and bleed brake lines using new fluid.  Clear the ABS shuttle valve failure code.

Quite a few owners have stated that replacing the shuttle valve did little to solve the 3 amigos.  Sludge buildup in the valves may still exist and only a newer modulator can solve this.  Some have said the newer modulators are better designed than the originals.  Maybe LR fixed the problem - quietly.
