Land Rover Repair: Cooler Line Leaks - 96 Disco, line oil, hi john

Hi John - My 96'Disco is leaking on my garage floor. I took it in for an oil change today and they identified the leaks and I'd like to know where I could find them and if I could fix them myself. The leaks are trans cooler line, oil cooler line, P/S hose leak, and front pinion seal leaking.  In your reply is it possible to direct me to some manual or photos showing where these places are?

Hi Jeff,

hose leaks are easy to fix for most DIY'ers.  I think the pinion seal is a bit more complicated. Most cases you can try to tighten the nuts holding the hoses in place. In some cases, the hose tip is damaged and the only fix is replacement.
