Land Rover Repair: Really Squeeky Wheels, discovery 98, differential lock

Question
Hello John, thanks for your input on my first question (Differential lock question).  Now I have a question which may pertain to that but I'm not sure.  When I turn really slowly on tar my front tires squeek really loudly, I'm not sure if this is because my Discovery (98) may have its differential locked still.
Another question - Is when I put on my indicator (left or right) they work on the outside but on the dash it shows up as hazards and when I do the right indicator the trailer light blinks twice and hazards as well. Just wondering if you know what this could be.
Thanks alot

Hi Marcus,

send me an email and I'll give you some independent LR mechanics "closer to home".  Include the city you'd prefer.

NY NJ is too vague.

Hi Marcus,

check to make sure your CV joint is not shot.  Wheels noise could also spell bearing problems or hub lubricant low.

Indicator bulb may be burnt out - check the front and rear lights to see if one is burnt out.  Also examine the bulb holder itself - they have been known to corrode with water ingress.  Usually, funny lights on the dash mean a short is detected (strange way of showing it).  Lights are in series and so if one goes, you usually will see a reaction on the dash.
