Land Rover Repair: ALARM-range rover, programming issue, turning the key

how can i disarm the alarm without using the handset??? couple of days ago i replace the alternator and the battery, and i already set the windows and sunroof, but i haven't got a chance to set the handset, radio, and navigation yet, because i work 2 jobs and i also go to school, so I've been using the key to unlock and lock the car, but somehow this morning, when i unlock the car, it unlocked, but the alarm was still armed so i couldn't use the car at all, i tried setting the handset but its no use. i would really appreciate it if you can help me fix that problem

If unlocking with the key and then turning the key in the ignition does not clear the alarm you have some kind of fault or programming issue, and the only way to sort that out is by use of the T4, IDS, or Autologic systems.

There is only other step to try, and that is to sync the remote again.  In sert key in driver door.  Twist to lock while pressing the lock button.  Hold 5 seconds.  Twist to unlock while pressing unlock.  Hold 5 sec.  See if pushbutton locking works now.  If not, you need a dealer or specialist.
