Land Rover Repair: 1994 air suspension, airsprings, light flash

Question
ive got a 1994 lse and the air suspension wont go up or down,it sits in between, the car still drives no worries.the light flash's on the dash constantly as well as the three switch's on the centre console.i do not want to remove the air bags to convert, does this sound like an easy fix problem?how do i fix it..i have not yet been to a dealer to check fault codes.

Answer
The lights flashing means it's trying to get to height, but hasn't quite made it.  This is typically caused by a worn out compressor, accompanied by leaky airsprings.  Replacing the airsprings and rebuilding the compressor is less expensive and easier than converting to springs.
