Land Rover Repair: Freelander S 2002, side doors, dash switch

John...Door lock problem. The passenger side doors will lock with the remote and the dash switch, but will not unlock. The other doors on the drivers side and the read door all work fine. I have checked fuses, tried to reprogram the remote and reset the door lock cylinder under the hood by the fire wall - driver's side. I am stumped? Thank you, Bob

The latches themselves are almost certainly bad.  The power lock/unlock mechanism is part of the latch.

Soemtimes you can stave off replacement with careful lubrication once the door panel is off, but 9 times out of 10, that's going to be your trouble.
