Fuse #3 in my 2003 Land Rover Discovery S blows as soon as I turn on the lights.   The speedometer and tachometer failed to light up while it was still under warranty.  I took it to the dealer and they replaced fuse #3.  It happened a few times thereafter and I replaced the fuse myself.  Now fuse blows the very second I turn on the headlights and my warranty expired two months ago.  How can fix this problem?

there is a short somewhere, I would talk to the dealer about fixing it under warranty as the problem started while it was in warranty.  If they won't a good digital meter and some patience will start you towards finding it.  You will also need a copy of the Rave CD with the electrical troubleshooting manual.
