Land Rover Repair: air suspension, horse box, air suspension

Question
my 1999 td5 rear suspension was replaced 1yr ago. I have just noticed when I hitched the horse box on the rear of the motor was sitting on the wheels without load, but disconnected it returns to normal.
This has never happened before it is like it is not holding compression. any ideas?

Thanks

Steve

Answer
Hi Steve,

It sounds like the system isn't compensating for the extra weight.  Is the height light flashing with the weight on?  (the light flashing means it's trying to go to that height).

If it's not flashing that means either it thinks it's still at the correct height, or something is stopping it-door/boot open or foot on the brake.

If the light is flashing for a long time and it won't come up, your compressor is probably worn down, was that replaced with everything else?
