Land Rover Repair: T-Box reseal, head gasket replacement, landrover discovery

Question
I took my just purchased 2003 Landrover Discovery SE to the dealer because there was leakage in my driveway that I noticed after parking my Landrover.  They looked at it and said it was the T-Box and it needed to be removed and resealed.  Is this a typical problem the truck only has 69,000 miles and is in mint condition inside and out.  It looks like it was taken good care of.  Also the dealer recommended that the head gaskets are just starting to show some leakage and they recommend head gasket replacement, however if they are not causing a problem why should I replace them, please advise.

Answer
It is rare for transfer cases to leak so much they leave spots.  But it can happen.  I'd just make sure that's what is really leaking.

Slight leakage from the heads is nothing to worry about unless the spots on the ground bother you.

Land Rovers do tend to leak.  So I would not jump too fast to fix every leak you see.
