I am facing problem with my SRS LIGHT. I tried to disconnect the battery pole unfortunately it would clear the error within the computer. do the SRS system has a relay or fuse. I am afraid to drive the vehicle (1996 land rover discovery II) the antilock light also remained on continuously. please assist or what can I do to resolve my problem.

The only way to clear an SRS light is with the special Land Rover test systems - Autologic, Rovacom, or T4.  Disconnecting the battery will just cause other problems.

Once the SRS light comes on it will not go out until cleared, even if the problem that put it on originally were corrected.

In contrast, The ABS light is only on if a fault is active.  The LR test system is required to diagnose it, also.
