Land Rover Repair: Service Engine Soon light, obd ii scan tool, land rover discovery

Question
I recently had my 60k service done on my 2002 Land Rover Discovery.  After I had the vehicle back for about a day the Service Engine Soon light came on.  I'm not sure if this is related to the 60k service, but the light has never came on prior.  The vehicle still runs and drives fine.  The temp. is normal.  They did replace the upper radiator hoses and spark plug wires while it was in for the service.  I'm suppose to be going on a long drive for the X-mas holiday...do you think it's okay to drive and just have the dealer check when I get back into town?

Answer
If it runs OK and the light is not flashing you are probably OK to take a trip.  If you have a life threatening problem the light would flash

Without hooking the vehicle to an OBD II scan tool there is no way to know what's wrong or if it's related to the service.
