Land Rover Repair: 1997 Discovery V8, coolant level, water condensation

Question
Hello,

1) At first start up in am when driving i can hear water under front pass side in dash. There is no smell or leak. No water condensation. It just sounds like water passing through a hose for about 3 seconds.

2) Also when I start, the gas pedal moves to about 1/4th of the day and then it gets stuck. The car will move at about 5 miles per hour and then after 10 min of warming up it will allow me to push the gas pedal normal again.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Answer
With respect to the water gurgle . . check your coolant level.  Air bubbles in the heater core make that noise.

Always make sure you coolant level stays full.

With respect to the throttle - you probably need a new cable, possible a throttle body
