Land Rover Repair: 95 Discovery AC, blown fuse, rovers north

Question
Are there any relays, fuses, or fusable links that normally go out?  Checked the fuses under the dash, but are there any others I might have missed?

Checked that first thing.  The rear A/C comes on with compressor and cools fine. Tried recirc with rear A/C on but front A/C button still will not light nor does cool air come out of the vents.  Not sure what else to look at.

-----Question-----
When I push the A/C button on my /Disco the light nor A/C will turn on.  The rear A/C and front blower work fine.  Where should I start looking for the proble.  Would this be the relays?
-----Answer-----
The first thing to check would be the refrigerant level.  If the system has a leak the light will not come on.

Well, at this point it's a matter of breaking out the wiring book and figuring it out.

The Discovery system is pretty simple.  Power flows through the switch, the evaporator switch, the pressure switches under the hood, and to the compressor.

You either have a switch open for low pressure, high pressure, or temp, or there is a wiring problem

If you don't have a wiring disgram I suggest you buy a day's access to Land Rover's site, www.landrovertechinfo.com and download the whole electrical book and the ac part of the workshop manual.

There are no computers in the system; you can test everything with a common workshop multimeter.

Good luck

Answer
There are some relays in the system.  I think if the fans work you have a wiring problem, not a blown fuse or fuse link.  You really should go back to the wiring diagram for this.  Do you have one?

If you don't want to download one from Rover's site you can buy a book (the ETM) from Rovers North, 802 879 0032
