Land Rover Repair: 2000 Disco2 Head Problems ??, blown head gasket, valve cover gasket

Question
Recently I have had some issues with a check engine light coming on and it was an O2 Sensor in front, not too bad I ordered the part and did the repair myself. Than I had a water pump hose a couple of weeks ago, had a small drip and fixed it with a clamp and all seemed well. Made sure that it had plenty of antifreeze and it was fine, the truck never was hot or went above normal temperature.
Today I get a call that the truck has steam coming out of the hood and told my wife to turn it off and call a tow truck. Temperature never went above normal temperature. We get it home I look under the hood and expecting a water pump hose thats bad or something and I find I have antifreeze coming out the bottom of the valve cover gasket near the fire wall, drivers side, UUGh. Checked the oil and it looks fine , not muddy. Is this a blown head gasket or is it antifreeze coming down from below the trottle body. And lastly how much will this one cost roughly. Also I won't be bringing it to any Landrover dealership, any known good Rover Mechanics near Nashua, Manchester NH area in New England. 2000 D2/4.0/Gas/ 117,000 mi

Hi Eric,

I use to live in Acton, MA and drove up your way many, many times.

It certainly sounds like a blown headgasket and not all result in coolant mixing with oil.  You'll need a good mechanic for this one to be sure ...
