Land Rover Repair: EAS Fault repair, exact diagnosis, coil springs

Question
I had an EAS fault for my 2001 range rover.  I took it to the dealership.  I told them i didnt have the funds to replace it with the springs now, but they somehow got the system back to opperating standards.  It only worked for about three or four weeks, but it worked.  Any ideas on what they did or what i can do to get it working again by myself

Answer
They probably only reset the fault codes that lock it out.

There is no need to convert to coil springs, the EAS can be repaired for LESS than the cost of a coil conversion.

Without knowing the codes I can't give an exact diagnosis, but most likely is a worn out compressor if it lasted another 4 weeks before re-faulting.

What exactly did it do when it failed?  Was it trying to raise in the morning, or trying to maintain height while driving, or nothing out of the ordinary?
