Land Rover Repair: Power steering, on-board computer and ABS breaking sensor. (Australia), land rover discovery, power steering fluid

Question
We have a Land Rover Discovery Series 2 1999 model 3.9L V8i and we are having to replace the power
steering fluid weekly, we have searched for a leak to no success.

And the once working cruise control no longer works, due to living in the middle of no where in
Australia we do not have access to a ECU scanning center; is it possible to buy one online
somewhere at a low affordable cost?

The ABS break light has come up on the dash and no longer work, could that be in the ECU as well
or could it be the actual sensor because we towed the 2 tonne caravan through hills and the
vehicle overheated?

Answer
There is no hidden place for power steering fluid to leak.  If you can't see it get some degreaser and power wash the thing so you can see what leaks.

There is no inexpensive tool for cruise control testing but I will tell you 95% of cruise problems result from cracked vacuum lines on the engine, the driver fenderwell, or the safety switch above the brake pedal

You will need a shop with an Autologic or T4 system to find out why the ABS lights are on.  There is no home test for that.
