Land Rover Repair: loss of power, course success, engine controller

hey guys, my landrover disco2 year 99, ok the problem is when i start it up, if i dont let it run for at leaast a minute and then i accelerate it doesnt go. Its like there isnt gas getting too the engine. It also seems to happen when i am up at70mph and press on the gas to accelerate. I can only go about70mph att top end speed, other than that it runs great. Kind of strange hope you can help me out. Thanks Ben

This problem should be easy to find and fix if you take the truck to a dealer or shop with the proper test system (Autologic or T4).  They can look at the live data from the engine controller and see what parameters are wrong.  The t4 (dealer) is the best tool for stuff like this, in my opinion.  Of course, success also depends upon the knowledge of the technician using the tool.
