Land Rover Repair: Range Rover unable to start it, starter problem, battery terminal

Question
Will not start, brought new starter motor, tested the battery and the car makes a buzzing sound when you turn the key.  What else could it be.

Answer
Using a volt mater check the voltage at the battery terminal and the solenoid terminal on the starter.  They should be 12 volts.  If they are not, you need to find a fix a problem farther into the wiring.  If they are 12v you have a starter problem.

If you need to go farther into the wiring I suggest you purchase an electrical troubleshooting manual and a shop manual or subscribe for a day to Land Rover's service web site, www.landrovertechinfo.com
