Hi Dennis, I wonder if you can help me ? I purchased a 2003 1.8L Petrol Freelander in May which has 25k miles on the clock. The manual clutch is jerky at times and feels like its slipping. Its been to a dealer who said there were no problems but when I had my MOT done last week at another garage they noticed the problem. Its under warranty until 31/10/06 so I want to take it to the dealer soon but need some 'ammunition' as they don't seem to want to help. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards.

My specialty is the air suspension, I will try, but John Robinson can give you a much better answer.

I haven't dealt with warranty issues on mine, so I don't know how to go about it, but I think the MOT is ammunition enough.   Get them to re-write the slip as "clutch failing" if you need to, then insist they cover it under warranty and stand your ground.
