Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Discovery Brakes, land rover discovery, john robison

Question
I was told that I need my front brake pads and rotors changed.  I have only changed brake pads on a non-Rover once.  Is this pretty easy to do yourself?

Thanks,

Answer
Replacement of pads and rotors is fairly easy on your model.  No special tools are needed.  Just unbolt the calipers and frames, then unscrew the rotor retaining screw and pull the rotor off.  Take apart the calipers and fit new pads.  Grease the slides and put it back together.

Probably a 2 hour job
