Land Rover Repair: remote keys not working, blonde chick, pushbuttons

Question
being a blonde chick, i left my lights on....okay.  the battery was
dead and i got it jump started and disingaged the alarm by doing
the left~right twist in the door 3 times.  subsequently the remote
functions of both remote keys does not work for either locking or
unlocking.

everybody wants to point out the remote batteries are dead....but
both of them have ample battery power......  

help?????

If this is a Range Rover 1995-2002:

Insert key in driver door lock.  Press lock button on key while turning key to lock.  Hold 5 seconds and release.  Press unlock and turn to unlock, hold 5 seconds.

Key pushbuttons should now be reset.

If this does not work, or if you have another model - you will need a dealer or specialist with an Autologic system
