QuestionDear John, I have a RR2001 HSK that occasionally will not move and acts as if the handbrake is on as the car rocks when put in gear torque twitch, i mess with the gear shift and eventually it moves!
Also the keys do not work since replacing the batteries, now the can will not lock or unlock, when i press the unlock the red light comes on but-nothing, if i press the doorbutton it locks all doors, if i lift it, it unlocks ok,done all the suggested clicks etc.
help please.-John
AnswerIf the car rocks but does not move I'd say a brake is sticking. Pull the handbrake and put it in gear to see if the feel is the same. If it is, you know where to look.
As for the alarm . . . put key in driver door, turn to lock while pressing and holding lock button. Hold 5 seconds. Turn to unlock, press unlock, and hold 5 seconds. If your remotes are functional and the switch in the driver door is good that process will reset them to the car
