Land Rover Repair: warped dashboard, screw down, design flaw

hiim about to purchase a 1995 v8i disco.it,s got a warped dashboard.is there a quick fix or does it have to be replaced.atb craig

Hi Craig,

LR has a $120 fix for this design flaw.  There is a screw down trim that is available.  You can buy this yourself BUT I strongly advise that you have the LR dealership do this.  Depending on how badly warped the dashboard is,  they'll have to shave some of the edges to fit the new trim along the windshield.

The trim fix is a black moulding that runs along the edges.  Compliments the vehicle well enough.  I had it done on my '95 and its much better than seeing that disgusting warp.
