Land Rover Repair: Discovery Trouble Codes, haynes manual, sure what this means

I Have a 98 LR discovery suffering from poor performance and a intermitiant check engine light.  i have also retreived two trouble codes from the computer 1179 & 1448 not sure what this means?  Also have a haynes manual but it doesn't tell what the drive cycle of this vehicle is so I can't tell if the problem is only one time or cronic?  The plugs, wires, and fuel pump are new.

p1179:  AMFR Correction At Maximum Negative Value  

p1448:  evaporative loss control system - Major leak (Driving Cycle C)

Looks more fuel injection or pressurization related. Was this new fuel pump performed during the fuel tank recall? It could be related to the work done if that is the case.
