Land Rover Repair: total brake loss, air leak, liter engine

Question
Hello, 1996 Range Rover SE with a Transplanted 4.6 liter engine. We have a complete loss of brakes, no pedal, no fluid coming out of calipers, etc. This is a gas engine with the hydra-boost ABS, Vin # SALPV1241TA329013.
Can you give me a start point on what to check or look for?  We have checked the fuses and electrical, of course fluids and the usual check of brakes and calipers. I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks, Andy

Answer
Hi Andy,

could be master cylinder.  If you press the pedal and it goes to the floor...its your Master C.  Its remotely possible that you have an air leak but its very, very rare.

Check out www.car-part.com for a used/salvaged master C

You can find them for under $100 and some yards will bench test it before shipping.

Best of luck,
