Land Rover Repair: Freelander TD4 Clutch, relief valve, master cylinder

Question
I have an 02 Freelander Td4  60k mls That needs the clutch bleeding every two weeks, due to stiff gear change and lack of pedal travel.
(The vehicle has had a new clutch and master cylinder @45kmls.) Once it has been bled gear change is great! Not sure where to start looking for the air ingress? any thoughts?

Answer
Hi Pete,

could it be a damaged air relief valve?  I think there is one on top of the gearbox.  A mechanic told me that they are easily bent and can cause all sorts of trouble.  I've check mine on my '95 Disco and they seem to be ok.  Hard to get at on the Disco.  Usually, you have to lower the transfer gearbox to examine them.

Best of luck,
