Land Rover Repair: I have a 94 Discovery auto,..., throttle position sensor, vacuum leaks

I have a 94 Discovery auto, it starts and runs fine then after 2 miles or so it dies no power just like runing out of fuel. it starts right away but will only idle for 30 to 45 secs but only if the throttle is kept on , all the while its missing like mad. with the engine CHECK light coming on, suddenly its  all ok light out running fine for 2 miles or so. I have done the fuel filters etc,If i open the injectors 1 at a time whilste the miss is still present the engine misses even more!on all pots, dont know any history but when it ok the engine seems really good thank you John

it could be a TPS problem (throttle position sensor).

Also associated with symptoms like this are vacuum leaks and fuel pump problems.

It could also be a coil problem : no spark! I'd also have the Spark amplifier module checked (beside alternator).  I'd check your spark plugs and wire too!  Just in case.
