Land Rover Repair: 96 Disco brakes, master cylinder, warning light

I've got a 1996 Discovery (automatic V8) and today, to my alarm, the brake pedal went "squishy". By the time I got home it was going all the way to the floor, though was still stopping OK. I checked the brake fluid level and it was way down (the warning light hadn't come on), so I waited a while then topped it up. Brake pedal still goes all the way to the floor. What's going on, and is it safe to drive to my dealer, 60 miles away?

I would first see if there are any leaks in the system.check under master cylinder were you added fluid.then check by the 4 wheels.if you dont see any leak good chance its a master cylinder.If you dont have any brakes dont drive-tow in.I would also look for shop close to you.try www.bushducks.com.
