Land Rover Repair: abs/down hill lights etc.., warranty expiration, miller toyota

Question
I have a 1999 land rover disco 2.  I bought it used over a year ago at miller toyota and ever since I've  had problems with the abs/down hill lights and etc... due to the after market break pad that miller put on the car.  After 6 month taking it into land rover as well as replacing the brakes and brake sensors the light no longer came on.  Now a year later they came back on again while I was driving.   So I called Land Rover and they made an appointment for two weeks to come in, although I asked for sooner.  The day of my appt I called them and to make sure one of my sensor was still under warrenty.  It expired the day before and they had no record of my phone call nor had the other records of previous visits.  What do I do?

Answer
Hi Jenni,

if they are unwilling to help you out one day after warranty expiration ...well... it should be an act of customer appreciation at least.  I guess for some dealers, only money talks.

In that case, contact LR head office in your country and voice your complaint. Go to www.landrover.com and select your country...look for the "contact us" hotkey and get the address and telephone number for the head office.

Raise your complaint and detail your visits as best as you can.  I'm sure they be able to help you out.

Best of luck,
JohnMc
