Land Rover Repair: Range Rover 1996 SE, oxygen sensor, openion

Question
-------------------------
Took my truch to the dealer.
They told me that I need a Sensor- P0130 Code #480

Transfer Case becasue of oil leak $750 Part plus labor total $2065

Vibration "Drag Ring" worn out $693

All Gaskets have to be replaced.

In your openion do you thin kI shoudl fix these problems ? If I do what guranatee do I have that this investment is worth it and the problem will not re-occure ? From past experiences once you start putting allot money into fixing problems in a car it never ends.

I want to keep the car, it is paid off and has 120,000 miles, is it worth fixing ?

Please help, need some advice.

Thanks.

Answer
The PO130 code is an Oxygen Sensor out of range. I just reset them and go to see if it sets again. If so then replace.

The vibration ring ist the harmonic balancer on the front of the engine.

What kind of TCase leaks and how bad.

Let me give you anumber Atlantic British 18005332210 for parts.

How much do you like the car. Condition I assume is good. Rovers are just real expensive.

Where are you. I am in Savannah, GA

Thanx, Dave
