Land Rover Repair: Water leaking into driver side floor board, soft plastic tube, belated response

Question
I think the air conditioner may be leaking water into the car.  How do I remedy the situation?  The water appears to be clean and is cold, and only leaks when the a/c is on. I own a 1999 Range Rover 4.0.  It began slowly and now sometimes pours out in streams.  Please Help!

Thanks very much,

Answer
Hi Bonnie,

Sorry for the belated response. Pull the carpet down in the front seat foot well down where your feet sit. This will be way down closest to the front of the car next to the console side of the foot area. Look for a rubber or soft plastic tube that exits through the floor. It should pull loose from the plastic casing. Not real far but just enough to blow compressed air through. The canned air for computers and such works great. Blow the crud ( leaves and dirt through it. Now if it has beed clogged for a while about a pint of water may drain. Use a large towel to catch it. That is it.

Let me know if this doesnt fix it.

Thanx, Dave
