Land Rover Repair: 2000 Diso TD5 ABS & Traction control problems, abs system, diso

Question
I have a 2000 Diso TD5 auto, the ABS, Down hill control and traction control warning lights are on. Can you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it.

Hi Darren,

I believe there is a known problem with your ABS system and you should consult your local LR dealer.  In the UK, LandRover has issued a recall on Disco's (yours included) concerning faults with some of the sensors.  I am not sure if this recall is in the US or Canada.  One of the key symptoms is having all three lights activated!

I think the problem is associated with a sensor that is sending false readings.  Older Disco's, like mine, have an older ABS system and are not affected.  Mind you, I'd like to have DHC and ETC ... I'll have to wait for now!
