Land Rover Repair: leaky roof, left hand corner, water ingress

Hello: I currently own a 2004 Discovery, it has been giving me water problems. Everytime it rains and the Disco is parked for a period of time, I get a leak in the upper left hand corner, drivers side. Any ideas ?? It is still under warranty, I have taken it three times to the dealer for the same problem..

Time to raise your voice.  Talk to your dealer's management and demand that this leak be repaire while still under warranty.  If you are not satisfied with your dealer's reponse, escalate your issue to LR head office and don't be shy about it!

Once your warranty is over...you pay the bill, and believe me it will be expensive.

Most series I Disco's have water ingress problems.  This is not normal to see a series II 2004 with a leak.  Has your dealer removed the windshield and resealed this?  Some leaks on older Disco's are around the corner 'posts', the joint between the steel roof and the aluminium framing, and at certain welds that seem to crack open in the footwells.

Three times for the same problem ... its time to talk to LR head office and get this problem resolved.  I think you've been patient long enough. Don't you?
