Lexus Repair: REPLACING BELTS AND A/C COMPRESSOR, tension bolt, lexus toyota

1994 LEXUS ES300 HI I AM IN A TIGHT SPOT AND NEED YOUR EXPERTISE I HAVE TO REPLACE MY A/C COMPRESSOR AND BOTH BELTS(NOT THE TIMING BELT) I HAVE TAKEN THE ALTERNATOR OFF BUT CANT SEEM TO GET THE A/C COMPRESSOR OFF AND DONT KNOW HOW MANY BOLTS THAT HOLD IT ON OR WHERE THEY ARE. AND I CANT FIND THE TENSION BOLT THAT HELPS ME TO REPLACE BOTH BELTS> PLEASE HELP! I HAVE A 1994 LEXUS ES300

Hello Marcus,
If you can't find the tensioner bolt then you shouldn't be working on the lexus.  Are you qualify technician? It's against the law to work on any a/c system without recovering it first.   To answer your question,   the tensioner located on the alternator bracket. It's a 12mm bolts. Take that lose and then your 12mm socket to take the tension off your alternator.  Don't forget to take the pressure off the 14mm alternator bolt sitting on top.  Power steering pump belt located by the power steering system.  It's a 12mm bolt.  There are 4 bolts that hold the compressor together.  Good luck with the repair sir.
