Lexus Repair: How to replace the oxyzen sensor in the front, mechanic shop, lexus es300

Question
Hi:

It was nice to see a reply from you. I have no clue of what you said. Can you be little more clear. I am not really sure of what sensor it is. I said Bank1 but not really sure. I think the Sensor in the front side might have been damaged. Can you give me a more clear solution. Please remember that i am an Illiterate in this field.

Waiting for your reply,
Rakesh

Recently i went to mechanic shop and he decoded the computer and it said that one of the O2 Sensor in the Bank1 is messed up ( I am not sure of whether what bank it said). Can you please tell me how to replace the Sensor in the front. I am completely unaware of it. This is my first car till now, so no Idea at all.

-----Answer-----
Bank 1 is the right hand bank. That's the rear bank (firewall side).
You just unclip the wiring harness & unbolt the sensor with an o2 sensor wrench.

Answer
It's the sensor on the backside of the engine.

Download this Camry repair manual.

It will exactly go over oxygen sensor replacement in the 1mz-fe section words & illustrations.

You unhook the electrical connector, and then unscrew the sensor with a special oxygen sensor socket.
