Ligth comes on switch but drivers seat does heat ?
-----Answer-----
You'll ahve to trace the electrical path to make sure they're getting power & have a clean ground when they should.
The heaters could be burned out.
Or they could be working & it's not cold enough for them to turn up yet. They operate at a reduced capacity at & above 55*F for saftey & longevity reasons & will not operate at all if the cabin temperature is above 72*F

Answer
To remove the seat is not difficult at all. You remove the 4 palstic covers at the corner of the seat & remove what is normally 4 14mm bolts that hold the seat down. Tilt the seat into it's smallest, most convienant size & rock it backwards so you have easy access to unclip the wiring harnesses. From there you open the door all the way & roll the window down. Just try to keep sharp metal from hitting the leather.

The seats are not heavy, but it's on of those "awkward" weights where there is a wierd center of gravity, you're bent over in the car. They take abig of goood angle to get out the door. They're typically around 50-70lbs on the front seats.
