Lexus Repair: dash lights, lexus dealer, dash lights

Question
I've just recently bought a 94 LS400.  The dash lights are slow to come on.  After it warms up, they will come on and stay on, but in the a.m., especially when it is cold, it takes awhile.

Also, is it necessary to have the car serviced at a Lexus dealer.  Will a Toyota dealer do, especially regarding brakes, alignments, minor repairs, servicing, etc.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello, most of these problems can't be repaired but will need the entire cluster replaced. If a Toyota dealer has someone there that also was trained by Lexus that would be ok. The Toyota dealers like to think they are the same cars but at times will cause damage and then realize they are not.
