Lexus Repair: Lexus ES300 oil-pressure sensor., low oil pressure, 1993 lexus es300

Question
My "low oil pressure" light has been on for the past 6 months even when everything is normal.  Come to find out it is due to a bad oil pressure sensor.  Dealership wants $350.00 to repair and I just bought the sensor for $6.00.  I wanted to change the sensor myself and save a little bit of money, but I don't have a clue what to do.  Can you e-mail me some information like where the sensor is located and maybe a tip or two on how to repair this problem. I really would appreciate it.

Answer
Hello Sam, The best thing to do is go to your local library and look in a Chilton repair manual so you have the instructions. The sensor is normaly around the oil filter area where the oil is feed through the block to the filter housing. I have not seen one go bad here so I am just going off memory.
