Lexus Repair: 93 Lexus ES300 Transmission, lexus toyota, forward gears

Question
Zak,

2 weeks I had the transmission fluid completely drained in my '93 Lexus ES300 w/107,783 miles. Now the car won't reverse, after it warms up, or very slow @ high rpm's. In the mornings or when the trans is cool in will reverse.

Hot or cold all of the forward gears perform as usual.  Some suggested that a solenoid valve could be faulty. I turst and would like YOUR opinion.

Respectfully,
Russel

Answer
Hello, If they did a transmission flush then they ruined your transmission. Only do drain a fills with the proper fluid. You may have a valve in the valve body hanging up. The only thing you can do is take it to a qualified Lexus/Toyota shop and have it checked out.
