Lexus Repair: OBDII code 0170 - Fuel trim malfunction, air flow meter, oxygen sensors

My check engine light is on and OBDII reports code 0170 - fuel trim malfunction.  What should I check to solve this problem?  It is a 1995 LS400 and runs fine but I need to get this fixed to pass the smog test.  I have cleared the code but it keeps coming back.  I recently replaced both front oxygen sensors.  Thanks.

Hello Dave, Well these are tough ones. It could be a air flow meter but again hard to check this problem. At the dealer they would just take a meter off another vehicle and try it. I would not just throw parts at it in hopes of fixing it. Most of the time you will just be wasting your money. I would say that this job is one for the dealer.
