Lexus Repair: Lexus GX 470 third brake light, lexus gx 470, lexus gx 430

A friend of mine has a Lexus GX 430 and the third brake light doesn't work. They have already tried replacing the light but it still doen't work. Is there a fuse, breaker, etc. that would keep it from working? Thanks for any help you can give. Dale

Hello Dale, It does have a fuse that is tied in with many other things. I would say that if you do not notice anything else not working that it may not be a fuse. I would start by checking for power at the bulb socket with a test light. It may have a socket problem.
