I'm writing from Toronto, Canada.

I'm interested in purchasing a '96 Lexus ES300 with 120-150,000kms.

What are the known problems with that model yr and what problem areas should I look out for when looking for a used ES300?

Hello, When buying a used car I like to see that all the services have been done and done at the Lexus dealership. I like to see that the engine oil has been replaced every 3k miles and the transmission fluid done every 15k miles. Common problems are power steering leaks, smoking in am from bad valve guide seals and maybe a/c problems.
