Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 2003 navigator, rear quarter, heat controls

I have a clicking noise in the right rear quarter of my navigator when I try to use the rear AC/ heat controls. They are also not working properly. It changes when you turn the temp control know up or down.. click click etc.. the rear ac/heat system is basically stuck in AC possition.

Hi Dan,

There is a ton of stuff that can cause this. Have you tried using the rear controls for the heating system? Remember to place the front switch to rear. In mine, the only thing in the right rear quarter is the jack and sub woofer. I couldn't find anything from Ford on this as far as I could see, but I need more info to establish the cause. Can you change it from floor to panel? Get back to me with these to things and we'll take further steps.
