Answer
HI Steve,

Where to start? I prefer to tackle these issues after it's been scanned. Even without a light there could be a code to help find our way. I hate just throwing parts at a car but lets start with plugs/wires/cap and rotor. Can never hurt to give the ole gal some new "ear rings". Then, if that doesn't fix it, a Mass Air Flow sensor. Then an IAC sensor. EGR valve. DFPE sensor. One of four O2 sensors. Dozens of other sensors. But like I said, please try to have it scanned first.  Cottman transmission will do this for free. Resubmit to me the code numbers, if there are any, and this should be an easy fix.
