Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 1999 Lincoln Town Car Horn & Locks, lincoln town car, town cars

Hi Dinger....I got a quick question about my 99 Towncar... Got this car not to
long ago... and re programmed the car so when i lock the doors with the
remote it honked at me to let me know i did it... Now just with in the last
week it stopped... i tried just re programming it to see it that would change
it... but it didnt... Any suggestions... And along with that... the  town cars got
an automatic lock system that locks the door after u put it in drive and go
more then 3 mph.... that also has stopped working they just stay unlocked....
All with in the last week... Any more suggestions... Thanks

Hi Chris,

I believe something is not resetting or not seeing that the car is locked. I think you might try the trunk latch and inspect it for damage or even if it's closed all the way. I spent about an hour reading about this issue but didn't find much.
