Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Blinkers,A/C, lincon towncar, small babies

I have an 89 Lincon Towncar.I just drove it from Texas To California and right before i got here the blinkers and a/c stopped working.About 20 minutes later when i started it again they worked fine.Just last week they stopped again and havent come on since.I have 2 small babies and hate to not drive it cuz of the a/c, blinkers but it's our only car.I think also the bright lights might be out.Thanks alot.

Hi Johnny,

Nothing I know of that would tie those things in on one issue. I'm afraid you have some sort of short in the wiring though it could be a bad relay. I didn't see anything in the wiring diagram though. Your best bet will be to try and find someone that specializes in auto electronics. They will probably know exactly what it is right off the bat. I do not suggest a dealer.
