Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Mercury Tracer 1998, mercury tracer, dollors

Question
Two days ago I got home from work and I realized that my brake lights just won't go off.  I have tried replacing the bulbs.  I tried replacing the fuse.  I also tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it.  Nothing wants to shut them off.  Can you help me?

thire is a switch under the brake peadl arm yours is bad to have this replaced .

Around 75 dollors with labor it would only take 15 min to change.

Yours is sticking . it is bad
