Lincoln/Mercury Repair: heater, ford shop, heater core

Question
We have a marquis 1989 302 . The heater is not working well. We have replaced the heater core and the thermostat twice. But nothing has helped. What else can be wrong with it And how do we fix it? Theres no heat inside & the blower is working.

Answer
sounds like the vent door on the heater box is jammed. you will need to take the car to a shop unless you are very good with heating and A/C problems. i suggest a ford shop because they are more farmiliar with the doors on the heater. you will need to tell them to check the dampers on the heater. it could be something else but it sounds like the doors. if they check that first it could save alot on the diagnosis time.
